Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full milling operations to ensure consistent product quality and optimal production output
- Implement and maintain strong cost-control measures across all operational areas
- Oversee procurement, production planning, maintenance, and quality assurance functions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reduce downtime
- Ensure full compliance with ISO standards, including implementation, monitoring, and continuous adherence
- Strengthen operational systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Provide strategic leadership to teams and report directly to the Board on performance and growth opportunities
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven experience in maize-meal and grain milling operations
- Strong technical knowledge of milling processes, product quality (especially on Sorghum & Maize meal), and plant efficiencies
- Demonstrated ability to manage and reduce operational costs
- Strong Knowledge in ISO standards and implementation is required
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities
