JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. (JCHX) has been awarded a five-year contract for underground mining services at MMG’s Khoemacau Copper Mine at Toteng, Zone 5, Botswana. JCHX seeks applications from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the following positions to be based at Toteng, Zone 5:
Reporting directly to the Training Coordinator, the purpose of this position is to coordinate and deploy site operator training and other programs. This position will be focused to ensure on-site and offsite learning is progressed seamlessly where learners can practice and apply new knowledge and new skills obtained.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Underground Trainer/Assessor in a mechanised mining environment.
- Experience in competency-based assessments and training documentation.
- BQA/SAQA Trainer & Assessor accreditation will be an added advantage.
- A moderator certificate will be an added advantage.
- The Operator Trainer must be experienced and proficient in at least three (or more) of the following equipment types:
- Development drill rigs (Jumbo rigs)
- Production long-hole drill rigs
- LHDs and underground haulage/dump trucks
- Mechanised support and utility equipment
- Simulator and Dover systems (advantageous)
