Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver tutorials online in accordance with programme quality standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and mark assessment activities.
  • Respond to course related queries raised by learners through different means of communication.
  • Keep records of learner attendance, learner progress, and any other relevant records.
  • Provide guidance and counselling to learners.
  • Supervise students research activities.

Requirements

  • A Master of Education (M.Ed) or Master of Arts (MA) in the following: Special Education, Inclusive Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Applicants must have completed coursework in the applied course at undergraduate level.
  • A minimum of two years’ teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrable familiarity with the use of electronic resources in the delivery of teaching and learning.
  • Experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL).
  • Registration with the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) as an Assessor and/or Moderator.
  • Experience in research supervision.
  • Strong expertise in the use of data analysis software.
