Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver tutorials online in accordance with programme quality standards and guidelines.
- Develop and mark assessment activities.
- Respond to course related queries raised by learners through different means of communication.
- Keep records of learner attendance, learner progress, and any other relevant records.
- Provide guidance and counselling to learners.
- Supervise students research activities.
Requirements
- A Master of Education (M.Ed) or Master of Arts (MA) in the following: Special Education, Inclusive Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- Applicants must have completed coursework in the applied course at undergraduate level.
- A minimum of two years’ teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrable familiarity with the use of electronic resources in the delivery of teaching and learning.
- Experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL).
- Registration with the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) as an Assessor and/or Moderator.
- Experience in research supervision.
- Strong expertise in the use of data analysis software.
