VACANCY: Personal Secretary (1 POST)

SALARY SCALE: C2 (P141,792- P168,576) per annum LEAVE: 25 working days per annum

BENEFITS: i) Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (NGO Council Pays 50% and Employee 50%)

1. ii) A contract of 24 to 60 months, with gratuity at the rate of 30% payable upon expiry of contract.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for appointment, applicants must have at least a National Diploma in Secretarial Studies or Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies.

EXEPERIENCE

Applicants should have served at least two (2) years as Senior Typist/ Shorthand Typist- C4/3 in the Public Service or equivalent in the Parastatal or Private Sector.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide secretarial services to the Non-Governmental Organisation Council Coordinator.

DUTIES

• Types letters, minutes, reports, notes from manuscripts or other forms of copies and files copies.
• Produces copies from original scripts.
• Takes shorthand dictation.
• Makes preparations for official meetings and functions.
• Takes down minutes at meetings.
• Advises on the selection of appropriate machines suitable for carrying out secretarial services.
