Locum
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients’ physical conditions and movement limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Use techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and electrotherapy.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment accordingly.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
- Provide patient-centered care ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on physiotherapy practices and advancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Valid Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC).
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years post qualification experience.
