We are looking for a skilled and motivated civil engineer to oversee and supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of approximately 64 km of buried water transmission pipeline and associated mechanical works that is currently being undertaken as Wellfield Development Project at Jindal Mmamabula Energy Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee trenching, pipe laying, jointing, and backfilling activities for buried pipelines.
- Supervise hydrotesting and commissioning of wellfield process water pipelines.
- Ensure strict compliance with design requirements, technical specifications, and project schedules.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout pipeline construction phases.
- Coordinate effectively with survey, quality control (QC), mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
- Provide technical guidance to ensure seamless execution of pipeline works.
- Support achievement of company business objectives and project delivery plans.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction or industrial projects (preferably power plants, pipelines, or infrastructure).
- Strong expertise in planning, execution, and quality control of civil and pipeline works.
- Familiarity with international codes, design specifications, and project schedules.
- Certificate in Project Management will be considered an added advantage.
