PLANT SUPERINTENDENT – BOTSWANA – The Danoher Group Of Companies

Key Responsibilities

• Operation, supervision and maintenance of crushing and screening plants.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor production activities to achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Diagnostic and fault-finding, including both mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Plant maintenance planning, preventive maintenance systems and breakdown management.
• Identify and resolve production and mechanical issues timeously.
• Team supervision, shift planning and safety compliance within a mining or quarry environment.

Requirements

• At least 5-10 years’ experience in the operation, supervision and maintenance of crushing and screening plants.
• In-depth knowledge of Metso and Volvo equipment, including production efficiency and maintenance best practices.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and monitor production activities to achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, including both mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Sound knowledge of plant maintenance planning, preventive maintenance systems and breakdown management.
• Ability to identify and resolve production and mechanical issues timeously.
• Experience in team supervision, shift planning and safety compliance within a mining or quarry environment.
• Valid trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Fitter, with traceable references.
• Must be able to work independently, under pressure and in remote site conditions.
