Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ministry of Local Government & Traditional Affairs employees for the above post tenable in the Ghanzi District Council. To oversee the performance and development of all quantity surveying works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure provision of quantity surveying services in the local authority for building projects, development and maintenance to ensure compliance with established legislation, regulations, policies and directives.
  • Prepare cost estimates of building projects and maintenance projects.
  • Supervises the preparation of bills of Quantity and specifications for both maintenance and building projects to guide in the development of the budget for the works.
  • Supervises maintenance and construction works to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Supervises, manages and directs the work of the subordinates.
  • Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management.

Requirements

Salary

D3 – (P293 652, -P323, 748) per annum
