  • Manages, directs and coordinates the functions of the Roads Division to ensure effective and efficient roads project implementation.
  • Supervises and guides subordinates in accordance with set standards.
  • Liaises with Economic Planning Division on the preparation of Capital Budget for development projects.
  • Provides technical advice on all roads related matters to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinates the preparations of road designs and specifications to ensure adherence to codes and standards for implementation of projects.
  • Coordinates tender documentation for Roads contracts by monitoring the various tender stages to ensure conformance to standards, specifications, tender procedures and regulations for effective projects implementations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience of which two (2) years must have been served as Principal Roads Engineer II-D3 salary scale.
  • Candidates must be registered (Professional Engineer) with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and have a valid practicing certificate.
  • Full name, address and date of birth.
  • Signed application letter.
  • Qualifications supported by certified copies of certificates.
  • Certified copy of Omang and at least two recent (12 months old or less) work related references.
  • Brief Summary of careers with duties (CV).
  • Attach proof of registration and valid practicing certificate from Engineers Registration Board.
  • In case of change of names/surname, provide proof of change.
  • Date of first appointment, present post, grade and date of appointment thereof.

Salary

D2 – (P337,008 – P371,628) per annum
