Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Processing team to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and optimise PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, automation and VSD systems.
  • Perform planned and corrective maintenance, calibration and fault finding on critical process equipment.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with SHEQ, food-safety, statutory and engineering requirements.
  • Coordinate with Production to resolve operational and technical issues.
  • Lead and coach the Processing team.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or NCC in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
  • 3 years’ experience in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering field
  • Relevant experience in processing control, instrumentation, automation and manufacturing maintenance
  • Basic language, writing and numerical ability
  • Fully bilingual in Setswana and English.
  • Physically strong and healthy and willing to work in a cold environment
  • Must be prepared to work overtime, shifts and on Sundays and Public holidays
