The Procurement Intern will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Procurement Unit to ensure the efficient, compliant, and timely execution of procurement and supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and issuing stock, conducting monthly stock takes and supporting sourcing activities.
- Checking and updating bin cards across clinical sites to maintain accurate and reliable inventory records.
- Support general procurement administration aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring adherence to procurement and inventory management standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) and/or CIPS Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
- Direct Entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, supply chain operations, and inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work under supervision and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to operational requirements.
- Professional and ethical approach to handling confidential and sensitive procurement information.
