Requirements

  • Minimum qualification – Diploma in mining engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in open pit drilling and blasting operations.
  • At least 5 years in a senior management or production leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage large fleets of drilling rigs and heavy equipment.
  • Strong focus on safety compliance, risk management, and zero-harm targets.
  • Excellent budgeting, cost control, and contract management abilities.
  • Advanced leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Familiarity with major OEM drills, including Epiroc, Sandvik and other similar class of equipment.
  • Valid Botswana Open Cast Blasting License.
  • Valid Class B driver’s licence
