Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor capital expenditure (CapEx), work-in-progress (WIP), and project milestones against approved budgets
  • Review and approve supplier quotations, invoice and manage purchase order system.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis, project financial packs, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Work with HODs and operations teams on cost optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and IFRS accounting standards
  • Ensure adherence to all BURS requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, or CA) are a strong advantage
  • Minimum 3-5 years of dedicated experience in project accounting or cost controlling within mining, construction, or heavy manufacturing.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication for liaising with site operations.
  • Commitment to a zero-harm safety culture.
