Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans and schedules on MSP/Primavera software, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely completion.
• Efficient resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials to meet the project objectives.
• Prepare and manage project budget, ensuring cost control and that the project remains within financial constraints.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on the project.
• Ensure that all construction activities comply with the set quality standards and project specifications.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the client, providing regular updates, and addressing any concerns.
• Lead and motivate the project team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Track project progress against milestones and take corrective actions as needed to stay on track.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, financials, and any issues that may arise.
• Ensure all project activities comply with all set statutory, contractual and safety standards.
• Execute any other morally reasonable assignments to meet the exigencies of service.

• Conversant with the FIDIC conditions of contract.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering/Highway Engineering or any related field
• Valid ERB Professional practising certificate
• Valid Class B driver’s license
• Preferably citizens of Botswana.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Civil Engineering works, of which three (3) years are related to road works for a Degree holder, and ten (10) years’ experience in road works for a Diploma holder.
