Requirements
- Minimum qualification – Diploma in mining engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years working in open pit mining or drilling operations
- Focus on maximizing equipment utilization, ensuring blast-hole accuracy, and solving complex ground challenges.
- Must have knowledge SHEQ management and control systems
- Deep understanding of blast hole, drilling methods and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mine safety rules and risk management.
- Ability to manage project budgets, costs, and client contracts.
- Good spoken and written skills to lead crews and talk to clients
- Understand legal terms, scope boundaries, and variation clauses within drilling contracts.
- Familiarity with major OEM drills, including Epiroc, Sandvik and other similar class of equipment.
- Valid Botswana Open Cast Blasting License.
- Engineers Registration Board of Botswana registration an added advantage
