Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee camp operations as well as projects in the electronic and/or mechanical domains, including facility management and ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop and implement medium-to-long-term operational and maintenance strategies
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project, camp management, facility management, and equipment maintenance objectives and milestones.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, camp logistics, facility operations, and maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Communicate progress and issues to stakeholders, camp residents, senior management, and relevant teams responsible for facilities and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, camp management best practices, facility maintenance protocols, and equipment safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Lead policy and procedure implementation for operational sustainability.
• Lead talent development, succession planning, and training.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in camp management, facility management, equipment maintenance, and project management, preferably within the engineering sector.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, especially regarding facility operations and equipment maintenance.
