Key Responsibilities
- Undertake reception duties and facilitate entry into Bank buildings in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Facilitate security vetting and clearance as required by the policies of the Bank and various legal instruments.
- Screen staff members and visitors at entry and exit, physically or using equipment such as X-Ray machines and metal detectors.
- Capture visitors’ and contractors’ data into the visitor management system and issue them with access cards.
- Conduct security and safety inductions for visitors and contractors, and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Escort visitors and contractors at all Bank facilities.
- Conduct physical security and safety surveillance and inspections of the Bank’s facilities on a regular basis.
- Man the Control Room and operate security and safety systems to facilitate access authorisation and conduct surveillance.
- Conduct investigations on all security and safety breaches and report the findings and recommendations to the management team.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Security Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Safety Management or equivalent, plus two (2) years’ relevant experience. A Light Duty, PSV and/or Heavy-Duty Driver’s Licence, plus three (3) years accident-free driving experience, will be an added advantage.
- The most suitable candidate is expected to demonstrate knowledge of security concepts and have leadership skills; communication skills; problem-solving skills; interpersonal skills; decision-making skills; and good ethical conduct.
