PIET LEGAL PRACTICE invites applicants from suitably qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Pupil Attorney.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting Senior Attorneys with legal research and drafting of legal documents
- Attending Court proceedings and client consultations
- Preparing case files and maintaining proper records
- Supporting litigation and general legal practice operations
- Performing any other duties as assigned by supervising Attorney (s)
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution
- Admission or eligibility for admission as a pupil attorney in Botswana
- Prior internship or practical legal experience
- Familiarity with court procedures and legal drafting
