Quality Assurance Analyst

ENKON Technologies Botswana (Pty) Ltd, is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst with a track record of successes to join our Gaborone team. Their duties will be to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Responsibilities include identifying and communicating baseline performance expectations and testing software changes prior to implementation.

At ENKON you will:

• Setup and maintain the QA policies and procedures for ENKON products. Creating and managing QA and testing documentation
• Identifying, characterizing and tracking software related issues
• Providing high-quality testing for new and existing software products. This includes unit testing, issue testing, end-to-end testing, regression testing, running and monitoring automated tests, load testing, performance (speed) testing and other testing is required
• Documenting bugs in our bug tracking software based on current template requirements
• Working with programmers to resolve bugs and other issues
• Undertaking and developing automated testing scripts
• Creating and modifying test plans
• Providing mentoring of other QA Analysts
• Providing Help Desk and customer support
• Creating the Bugs tracking reports on a weekly basis
• Other tasks as identified by ENKON Management.

Your Skills:

• A bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a closely related field
• 3+ years of experience with testing, auditing, and quality inspection of projects
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with QA programs and databases
• Being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
• Analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems.
• Consistency of actions, methods, principles, expectations, and outcomes.
• Persistence in the face of obstacles.
• Willingness to personally take on responsibilities and challenges.
