Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the monitoring of compliance with SHEC regulations by providing financial data and reports that help identify areas of concern
- Adhering to and uphold all SHEQ related policies and standards enforced by the Khoemacau Mine.
- Contributing towards an environment conducive of meeting SHEC standards and enhancing safety behaviours.
- Developing and implementing QA/QC systems, policies, and procedures to maintain high standards of quality.
- Monitoring and auditing mining processes, materials, and production outputs to ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Coordinating testing, inspections, and documentation of mining operations and associated equipment.
- Leading root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality issues.
- Training and mentoring site personnel on QA/QC protocols and best practices.
- Collaborating with engineering, operations, and project teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Preparing and maintaining detailed quality reports and records for internal and external stakeholders
- Working with project managers and stakeholders to forecast costs and financial impacts.
- Liaising with project managers, finance teams, contractors, and other stakeholders ensuring alignment on financial and contractual goals and objectives.

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Automation or related
- Masters in Engineering Management will be an added advantage
- A minimum of 10 years extensive experience in QA/QC within a mining industry
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance Knowledge of and competence in the use of: Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office, SAP Experience
- A valid class B driver’s license and good driving record is a must for all positions.
