Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Prepare tender documentation and evaluate contractors’ bids.
  • Manage project costs from inception to completion.
  • Conduct site measurements and prepare interim valuations.
  • Prepare payment certificates for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project expenditure and prepare cost reports.
  • Assess and value variations, claims, and change orders.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions and procurement procedures.
  • Provide cost advice and value engineering recommendations.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
  • Prepare monthly financial and project progress reports.
  • Identify and manage project risks related to cost and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, Electrical, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in preparing BOQs, cost planning, tendering, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and quantity surveying software.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
