About the Job

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced QuickBooks Online Budget & Internal Finance Specialist for a 1–3 month contract, with potential for a longer-term engagement. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in managing complex financial operations and implementing innovative financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, identify, implement, lead, and manage budgeting operations and technology solutions across three locations and multiple service lines using QuickBooks Online.

• Design and implement systems to analyze financial data for actionable strategies.

• Design and implement internal finance processes to drive operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with partners and teams to align financial strategy with business goals.

• Design and implement monitoring processes for performance metrics and recommend improvements.

• Design and implement detailed financial forecasting and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all financial tasks.

• Optimize workflows and ensure consistency across processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online budgeting and financial planning with a track record of managing complex financial operations.

• Solid bookkeeping experience, including payroll, account reconciliation, and transaction classification.

• Experience creating SOPs and documenting workflows.

• Familiarity with task management tools like Karbon (preferred).

• Strong analytical mindset and process-driven, solutions-based thinking.

• Experience implementing internal finance systems and workflows.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Reliable internet connection and distraction-free workspace.

• Proactive, solutions-oriented individual with attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in financial management or consultancy.

• QuickBooks Online Pro certification.
