To join the team and perform laboratory analysis, sampling, and management tasks on a shift basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Reports to Laboratory Manager
- Daily analysis on shift basis
- Reporting of results to client
- Manages operators on shift basis
- Frontlines maintenance on equipment
- Assists with daily checks and support with QMS
- Reports to Analyst on shift basis
- Takes manual or mechanical samples on a shift basis according to the required ISO 13909 sampling standards
- Prepares coal samples on shift basis
- Collects samples at sampling point with provided vehicle
Requirements
- Direct entry
- Minimum BGCSE with a pass in Chemistry and Mathematics
- Certificate or Diploma or Degree in Chemistry or Mathematics, Analytical/Industrial Chemistry would be a plus
- Good computer literacy (Excel and basic data entry essential)
- Eagerness to learn, be teachable, and open to new methods and training
- Ability to supervise and take responsibility within a team setting
