Key Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic mineral market research and analysis to support investment decisions and policy advisory.
- Monitor commodity trends, supply-demand dynamics, and price movements.
- Develop market intelligence reports and forecasts on the mining and minerals sector.
- Support due diligence and strategic investment decisions through data-driven reporting.
- Monitor mining and minerals investment opportunities and define success metrics.
- Keep abreast of advancements in mining research, innovation, and processes.
- Ensure market analysis reports and assessments are accurate and compliant with policy requirements.
- Assist in tracking risk items of potential investments and assets within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance mineral market intelligence and value creation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or related fields.
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the mining and investment industry.
- Advanced research and data analysis skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Technical report writing and presentation skills.
