The incumbent shall be required to have good understanding of the Study Research Protocol and provide support in clinical research trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting study participants as per stipulated targets.
- Following up of study participants by telephone or physical follow-up as needed.
- Conducting informed consent procedures.
- Performing study evaluations as per study protocol.
- Drawing blood samples from participants.
- HIV testing and counselling.
- Adhering to the Study Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhering to Good Clinical Practice and Human Subject Research guidelines.
- Implementing the Quality Assurance plan.
- Driving BHP vehicle carrying participants.
Requirements
- Excellent time management.
- Computer Literate.
- Licensed to drive in Botswana will be an added advantage.
- Certificate/ Diploma in Health Care auxiliary or related field.
- Certificate in Counselling.
- Four (4) years’ experience in clinical research support.
- The incumbent must also have professional experience in HIV testing and counselling.
