Job Title: Research Data Collectors x4
Organization: Women Against Rape
Location: 2 Positions in Maun and 2 Positions in Gumare
Duration: 2 months
Job Summary
We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented Data Collectors to support a comprehensive survey on ‘Kgarebe ena le tshwanelo – even after bogadi- Investigating the Extent of Objections to Criminalisation of Marital Rape in Botswana’ in Gumare and Maun. Data will be collected using digital tablets.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend 3-day in-depth training on study instruments and research ethics.
- Conduct face-to-face interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with respondents in designated communities.
- Accurately record data using on tablets.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Submit daily reports to the Project Officer.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in data collection (household surveys, FGDs, or KIIs).
- Fluency in Setswana and English.
- Proficiency in using Android tablets or smartphones for data collection.
