We have a vacancy in our Botswana office for the following position;
1.RESIDENT ENGINEER

Qualifications:

Prospective applicants must have a minimum Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience:

A Minimum of 30 years overall experience, 20 years of which must be in construction supervision and contract administration of major civil engineering infrastructure projects namely roads, bridges, water and sanitation projects. Prospective applicants must have served in a similar capacity for a minimum of 20 years and should have the following qualities and experience;
•Effective organizational, multi-tasking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work on complex disputes/claims, interim valuations, variations, final accounts and other claims.
•Ability to analyze CPM Programmes/schedules
•Knowledge of construction contract administration procedures.
•Coordinate, supervise, manage and monitor all activities, the professional conduct of the Engineer’s team on the construction site, and the matrix of responsibilities for all team members.
•Coordinate, supervise, manage and monitor the training of Engineering Students on industrial attachment from various Technical Institutions.
•Produce project management reports and various schedules and cost estimating
•Ensure budgetary goals are met and that all work is performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
•Manage quality assurance procedures and ensure that all construction activities comply with the Contract including environmental protection requirements.
