Key Responsibilities
- Support KYC/customer onboarding documentation checks and maintenance of accurate compliance records.
- Support sanctions, politically exposed person and adverse media screening processes under supervision.
- Assist in updating risk registers, compliance monitoring plans, incident logs and issue-tracking schedules.
- Compile supporting documentation for internal reports, regulatory submissions, audits and inspections.
- Assist with policy review administration, staff compliance declarations, training records and follow-up trackers.
- Conduct basic regulatory and industry research and summarize developments for review by the Risk and Compliance team.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle personal, client and business information responsibly at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, Law, Governance or a related field.
- Strong academic record, with a CGPA of at least 70%.
- Strong interest in risk, compliance, AML/CFT, data protection, governance or financial services regulation.
- Good written communication skills, attention to detail, integrity and ability to work with confidential information.
- Prior exposure to AML/KYC, compliance, audit, legal, accounting or financial services will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- A good understanding of capital markets and instruments.
- No work experience is required.
