Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment routinely
- Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen and scullery area clean and organized, dispose of rubbish and maintain hygiene standards
- Assist with cleaning floors, counters, food preparation areas and help kitchen staff with basic duties when required
- Ensure all cleaning materials are used safely and properly and also follow health and safety regulations at all times
- Waste Management: collecting ,emptying ,cleaning trash bins and disposing refuse from all kitchen areas.
- Supplies Management: Storing dishes ,utensils and equipment in designated areas and stocking service stations
- Assistance : Assisting chefs with basic food preparations ( e.g peeling vegetables ) and helping unload deliveries
Requirements
- Education: Cambridge certificate
- Previous scullery or kitchen cleaning experience is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required
