MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The primary purpose of this position is to provide security services to Government premises at night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guards Government Buildings and property by patrolling the premises and ensures that windows and doors are securely closed and locked.
  • Maintains a record of Government movable property taken in and out of the premises to prevent theft of Government property
  • Checks all fences and enclosures for unauthorized access and reporting any defects to the Supervisor.
  • Reports all cases of theft and burglary immediately to the supervisor and police.
  • Hoists the national Flag and lowers it at designated times.
  • Records in the diary all suspicious occurrences to assist in cases of theft and Burglary.
  • Undertakes any other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • To be considered for appointment to this position, candidates must have Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLE) Certificate.
  • Direct entry.
  • Experience in security services will be an added advantage

Salary

Housing and up-keeping allowance (P1,105.40 per month); Contributory Pension Fund (Employee Contribute 5% and Government contribute 15%)
