Security Manager
CRESTA MARAKANELO LIMITED

Cresta Marakanelo Limited, a leading hospitality group with 11 properties across Botswana, is seeking a visionary and results-driven Security Manager to join our dynamic team to oversee and coordinate all security operations. This pivotal role is based at our Head Office and will ensure the safety, security, and well-being of our guests, employees, and assets across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the group’s security strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee and coordinate security operations for all 11 hotel properties.
• Conduct regular risk security assessments and audits across the group.
• Manage incident investigations, reporting, and follow-up actions.
• Train and support hotel-based security teams to ensure consistent standards.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Maintain and manage the group’s security systems, technology, and equipment.
• Prepare and manage the annual security budget for the group.
• Lead emergency preparedness planning and crisis management initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a senior security management role, with experience in a law enforcement institution being an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, investigations, and emergency response planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to hotel sites within the group.
• Relevant certifications in security management or related fields will be an advantage.
