Key Responsibilities

Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
Protect property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
Act decisively in direct defense of life or property
Apprehend criminals and evict violators
Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
Report in detail any suspicious incidents
Perform first aid or CPR

Requirements

Minimum BGCSE/Cambridge and/or a certificate in security management
Must hold no criminal record
Must be mature and responsible
Physically and mentally fit
Have integrity and self discipline
Fluent in both English and Setswana
Ability to adapt to working under pressure
Customer centricity
Previous experience as a Security Officer is an added advantage
Assertiveness
Well organized, able to work in a team environment
