The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen our finance team. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local and international standards, and supporting strategic decisions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS and local regulations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory requirements.
- Provide financial insights to support business growth.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of African tax and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
