Key Responsibilities
- Oversees maintenance standards, supports camp-based Mechanics with technical expertise, coordinates major repairs, and ensures compliance with company safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
- Provide advanced diagnostics and technical support for complex mechanical faults across the cluster.
- Perform and oversee major repairs on vehicles, boats, generators, tractors, and other motorised equipment.
- Develop and monitor preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment within the cluster.
- Ensure all servicing and repairs are conducted according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Provide emergency breakdown support where required.
- Conduct technical inspections and quality checks on completed repairs.
- Monitor equipment reliability and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Analyse recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and coaching to mechanics across the cluster.
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Requirements
- National Craft Certificate (NCC) in Motor Mechanics or Equivalent
- Three (3) years post qualification experience in a similar environment.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Experience in the tourism, safari, lodge environment will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience leading and supervising teams.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate maintenance activities across locations
- Extensive practical experience in mechanical maintenance and repairs
