Key Responsibilities
- Identification and control of irregularities and misstatements
- Audits as per International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Client portfolio management
- Assessment of internal controls, compliance and risk management processes
- Preparation of detailed audit reports and financial reporting
- Tax, audit, regulations/laws and general advisory
- Effective working/collaborative relationship with management
Requirements
- A well-qualified and growth-oriented career professional with Bachelor’s degree in Applied Accounting and professional qualification in either ACCA, CPA or CA.
- Suitable candidate must also demonstrate relevant skills in Accounting software proficiency (Mobilink, SAGE, Ms Suites).
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting and sustainability standards.
- Strong auditing, finance and commercial awareness.
- Teambuilding and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Must be registered/cleared with BICA and/or the equivalent relevant professional regulatory body from outside Botswana.
- Minimum of at least 5 (five) years’ proven experience in an external auditing or professional services firm.
- Essential skills and ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements shall be an added advantage.
