Job description
Reporting directly to the Finance & Grants Coordinator, will be responsible for the program financial and grant management and accounting procedures, rules and regulations. S/he will lead budget development, financial reporting, monitor program expenditures and maintain financial filing systems. S/he will be responsible for monitoring and compliance and providing capacity development and technical support to sub-awardees to strengthen their grant management systems and ensure timely and efficient close-out of sub-agreement.

OVERALL PURPOSE
Ensure organisation meets all its statutory obligations; To prepare monthly reports detailing, income and expenditure, intercompany account schedules, and variance analysis; To ensure the financial integrity of the operation with regards to controls, systems, financial reporting; To ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports; To manage the financial and compliance aspects of government and donors and ensure that expenses are incurred consistent with grant agreements; To prepare monthly/weekly internal financial management reports for the Finance & Grants Coordinator and variance analysis, where necessary; To undertake any other activity that is assigned by the Finance & Grants
COMPETENCIES
Basic budgeting, accounting and program concepts and principles including agency budget procedures and its financial management systems
Basic techniques of financial management, economic analysis, internal controls, auditing and program evaluation
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any Financial Accounting Qualification.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Ability to work independently and excel under pressure
Ability to multi task and achieve objectives
3-5 years extensive experience as a Senior Finance within the NGO environment
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential
Proven computer literacy in accounting software’s(ERP) & MS Office Package

Tebelopele Voluntary Counselling and Testing Centre (TVCTC) is a non-governmental organization providing HIV/AIDS and related services across the country. The organization has 18 Centres and offers HIV-SRH integrated health services in select locations and outreach services to remote areas.
Tebelopele is in collaboration with ACHAP through Global Fund to implement two modules across five districts in Botswana. These modules are:
Prevention Program for female sex workers and their clients.
Prevention program for General population
