Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the movement of customers, visitors and service providers into and out of the building by ensuring smooth and organised flow.
- Ensuring that security policies align with legal and regulatory equipment by keeping informed about relevant laws, regulations and industry standards that impact organisation’s security posture.
- Ensuring the building is safe and secure daily for the movement of goods, protection of employees and customers by implementing safety measures and security protocols.
- Ensuring compliance to the Security Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) by following established protocols.
- Ensuring compliance to the Precious and semi – precious Act by strictly adhering to the statutory requirements.
- Ensuring that the vault is locked after the removal and return of diamonds by following designated procedures.
- Assisting in securing the safe movement of goods during importing and exporting using a trustworthy shipment company.
- Responding to medical emergencies, fire, or intrusion alarms by following emergency response procedures.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Security Management.
- 3 years’ security experience, at Supervisory level in high value / protected security area can be accepted in lieu of formal education.
- 2 years security experience high security and professional environment.
- Strong expertise in the security and movement of diamond products and and or high value products.
