Key Responsibilities
- responsible for all design aspects of structural and civil projects including high rise buildings, liquid retaining structures, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete; steel structures; masonry, timber and other specialist materials
- manage your own projects from concept to construction
- lead a design and drafting team through all phases of a project
- resolve conflict, deliver to deadlines; and maintain quality and ISO standards and procedures
- This role may involve some regional travel
Requirements
- ERB Practicing Certificate Senior Structural Engineer
- minimum of 15 years relevant post-graduate experience
- Experience with various structural analysis and design software, 3D Modelling (REVIT) is essential
- comprehensive knowledge of local and international Standards and structural engineering first principles
- hands-on Professional Engineer proficient in FIDIC Conditions of Contract
- strong leadership skills
- able to confidently and appropriately assert himself/herself, make prudent decisions and effectively solve problems
- Have an inquisitive; learning-orientated outlook to be successful in this challenging environment
