Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate machinery for development driving, installing ground support, and any other work that is required.
  • Complete pre starts on equipment and report on maintenance issues.
  • Identify and promote suggestions to increase productivity and/or reduce operating costs. Prepare the workplace for the oncoming shift person to continue operations without interference or obstruction.

Requirements

  • Underground Decline Development Experience.
  • Experience working for a Top Tier Mining Contractor.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Underground Mining.
  • Driver’s Licence, First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • Working at Heights certificate.
  • Experience with Normet Sprayers and Sandvik Drills.
  • Proven Safe and reliable operation of mobile mining equipment.
