The Shaft Sinking Project Manager has the overall responsibility for ensuring that the project in its entirety performs in line with all project, commercial and technical contractual undertakings. This candidate will report to the JDS Project Manager and the UMS Group Executive for Projects.

Requirements
- A relevant tertiary and sinking qualification such as Mine Managers Certificate of Competency.
- Certificate of Competency, such as a Blasting Certificate of Competence as providing the relevant government.
- The relevant Manager’s Certificate to ensure legal appointments can be carried out looking for the role.
- Competent in NEC 3 and FIDIC contracts with proven knowledge and experience.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience at managing a Shaft Sinking and Underground Construction Project.
- Proven project management experience.
