SHE Officer (BHR-SO-2026007)
Job Summary
Develops and implements Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and ensures compliance to procedures within the workplace to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
i. Conducts safety training and SHE audits including procedure briefs, and ensuring compliance to safety standards (e.g. ReMmogo pillars).
ii. Investigates near-hits, incidents and enforces corrective measures proactively.
iii. Monitors compliance with safety standards within workplace.
iv. Compilation and reporting of SHE statistics and interpretation of the data.
Qualifications & Experience
i. Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety; Environmental Health or similar.
ii. Minimum 3 years’ SHE experience in a mining environment.
iii. Strong understanding of workplace safety programs and compliance.
