Champs Botswana (Pty) Ltd is a growing and dynamic company based in Pilane Industrial. We are currently looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team in the position of SHE Officer tenable at our Jwaneng Mine Based Site.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and maintain SHE files as per applicable standard set by the company and its clients, updating and availing information regularly and as and when it is needed.
- Lead and facilitate risk assessments, hazard identifications and reporting, as well as planned task observation for purposes of continuous improvement at work.
- Preparation of Safety, Health and environmental weekly and monthly reports for management including statistics of accidents, incidents and near misses
- Hold safety meetings, toolbox talks and all safety induction meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum of Diploma in Occupation Health and Safety or related field
- ISO14001 and 45001 certification
- Minimum 2 years proven relevant work experience in a similar role preferrably in the mining industry.
- Strong Collaboration skills
- Good communication Skills
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Drivers License is a must
