MASTER DRILLING is looking for Position: SHEQ OFFICER
Job Summary
The SHEQ Officer is responsible for Control and management of the safety, health, environmental and quality aspects of the site operations. Based at Khoemacau Zone 5.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain system for SHEQ
- Advise and provide guidance to management on SHEQ related matters
- Ensure the operations are not affected or delayed due to any SHEQ related aspects
- Reduce risks across the SHEQ related fields
- Implement standards, procedures and policies applicable to the company and / or specified by the client including legal requirements
- Ensure a satisfactory service is rendered to the client based on internal, client and legal requirements.
Requirements
- SAMTRACK / COMSOC 1
- Risk Assessment Certificate
- ISO 9001 (Implementation and Auditing)
- ISO 14001 (Implementation and Auditing)
- OHSAS 18001 (Implementation and Auditing)
- Competent A/B
- Incident Investigation
- Certificate in Safety
- Computer Literate
- Speak, read, and write – English
- Medically fit to work on surface and in an underground environment
- Ability to pass a police clearance
- Five to seven years’ previous experience as Mine SHEQ Officer
