We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Site Agent** to join our growing construction team based in Gaborone for short term project to be completed in August 31st 2026.
Location: Gaborone, Botswana
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
* Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site personnel.
* Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports.
* Ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and applicable regulations.
* Manage site resources, including labour, plant, and materials.
* Implement and enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
* Liaise with clients, engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
* Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on site.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related construction discipline.
* Minimum **6 years’ proven experience** as a Site Agent or similar site management role on construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and contract administration.
* Active ERB Certificate mandatory
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project or Primavera) will be an added advantage.
* Valid Botswana driver’s licence is preferred.
