The Site Foreman is responsible for overseeing all mining operations with a focus on safety, production, budget, and team leadership, bridging corporate goals with site execution through strategic planning and resource optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily activities, production schedules, resource management, and equipment usage.
- Drive a “zero harm” culture, ensure strict compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, and conduct risk assessments.
- Managing site, handling performance issues, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage site budgets, monitor costs, control expenditures, and report on financial performance.
- Prepare site reports, maintain records, and ensure adherence to company policies and legislative requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
- Prince 2 practitioner or PMP certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in Mining environment.
