Key Responsibilities

• The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily site operations and allocating tasks to team members.
• He or she will ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulations while monitoring work progress to guarantee projects are completed on time and within scope.
• The Site Supervisor will also be expected to maintain accurate records of attendance, work progress, and safety compliance.
• Coordination with management and clients on site requirements and progress updates will be essential.
• Ability to write reports and proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Furthermore, the successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to workers, inspect tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe working conditions, and resolve site challenges promptly and efficiently to avoid work disruptions.
• Any other duties that may be given to them by Management.

Requirements

• Applicants must possess a minimum of Degree in Safety and Health or with any qualification in Occupational Health/ Public Health as added advantage.
• Certificate in supervisory or leadership qualification, customer service, First Aid/ Working at Heights or any related training as added advantage.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in the mining industry is required, of which at least one year should have been in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Class B driver’s license is a requirement.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, flexibility to work in demanding and high-risk environments, and resilience under pressure are essential qualities for this position.
