WE’RE HIRING SKILLS TRAINER

We are seeking a passionate Skills Trainer to enhance the capabilities of our teams across all levels within the Restaurants.

Purpose

The purpose of this position is to support Store Managers through facilitative, managerial and professional organizational Training & Development initiatives. The Skills Trainer serves as liaison between the Operations Leadership, HR Team and Branch Managers on issues relating to team member training. Controlling, implementing Franchise store standards and driving profit margins is a key component of the role.

Responsibilities

• Trains, coach and certify team members as per brand standards.
• Conducts Restaurant Orientation for new store staff and Managers.
• Conducts on Branch training evaluations to assess the retention of knowledge.
• Conducts and manages annual assessments for all employees.
• Assesses additional training needs of stores and discusses with the Operations and HR Departments.
• Issue and approve all certification by inspecting and relevant documentation.
• Presentation of training courses as and when necessary.
• Provide Manpower Development input at above store level.
• Responsible for delivery of training to bridge performance gaps.
• Communication on all Training and People Development status reports, opportunities and progress to plan.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in Franchise stores management
• Excellent presentation, written communication and oral communication skills required.
• The incumbent must possess an understanding of the learning process as applied to in-stores training.
• Ability to handle participative training techniques within the brand.

Requirements

• Pedros Training Academy: All levels of Skills and Management training courses.
• 2 – 4 years overall experience in Pedros Botswana Restaurants.
• Diploma in Hospitality Management, Training or related tertiary education (added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Candidates with no disciplinary records required.
