Drives supplier performance, strategic sourcing initiatives, contract implementation and value delivery while ensuring security of supply, operational reliability and logistics service excellence. Works closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Projects, SHEQ and Commercial stakeholders to ensure that engineering goods, services and logistics requirements are sourced competitively, responsibly and in line with business objectives. Requirements
- National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or related
- Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering qualification – Essential advantage
- Professional Procurement Qualification (CIPS or equivalent) – Essential advantage
- Postgraduate qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering Management or Business Management – Essential advantage
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, Supplier Management, Logistics Management or Commercial roles
- Experience sourcing engineering equipment, maintenance services, MRO materials, capital project requirements, logistics services and industrial products
- Demonstrated experience supporting RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management
- Experience within mining, manufacturing, explosives, chemical, industrial or logistics environments preferred
