Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all documentation required in stock assembly is recorded and archived accurately
- Capture production stock that has already been stacked on the pallets into the ACCPAC System before it passes the security gate into the Warehouse.
- Assist with the daily stock and monthly stock takes to ensure correct physical counts and verification of losses.
- Record assembly / production numbers and submit stock reports to the ACCPAC Value Chain Controller daily including stock variances.
- Check and ensure that pallets being transferred to the Warehouse are in a good condition.
- Maintain daily housekeeping and always adhere to safety practices.
- Adhere to all food safety procedures.
- Undertake other related duties assigned by the supervisor as may be necessary for the achievement of the overall production objectives.
- Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs in order to contribute to company compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate must have a Certificate in Accounting/ Business Management or related. One (1) year post qualification experience in the FMCG and manufacturing industry as well as knowledge in ACCPAC will be an added advantage.
- The candidate must also possess; Have good communication skills. Have basic numeracy skills. Pay attention to detail. Be observant and compliant.
