Stock Controller x1 – Opti Feeds Botswana

Opti Feeds Botswana is one of Botswana’s prime animal feed manufacturers and produces such brands as opti layer mash and various opti broiler and breeder chicken feeds. The Company intends to expand its factory plant in Botswana and invites suitably qualified, experienced, result-oriented citizens of Botswana to lead and implement the project.

Job profile

STOCK CONTROLLER X1

• Counting and reconciling finished products and orders stock
• Capturing of trucks at the weigh bridge and preparing all the necessary documents
• Clean and monitor all folklifts
• Ensuring external areas for loading and offloading trucks is clean and neat always
• Ensure that surplus feed/split feed and raw materials are swept daily and whatever possible products recovery is made
• Ensure accurate and right products are loaded on trucks
• Coordinate all the stock takes i.e. mid-month and month end stock
• Make a reconciliation of stock after every stock take and send/submit to logistics supervisor
• Supervise loading team at all times to ensure that they do their work as scheduled

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate in CIPS/ or equivalent
• Driver’s license, forklift driver’s license will be an added advantage
• 2 years’ experience
Experience in stock controlling in a manufacturing plant will be an added advantage
